About Student Leadership
Calling All Student Leaders – PK–12th Grade
Are you a student with a heart to serve and lead?
We’re inviting students of all ages to step up and help guide and shape our Deeply Rooted Co-op!
There’s a place for everyone — whether you love singing and leading worship, sharing announcements and getting people excited, or running the tech behind the scenes with sound, visual effects, slides, and lights.
This is more than just helping out — it’s a chance to grow in leadership, teamwork, and faith, all while making a difference in our co-op community.
You’ll get to use your gifts, try new things, and be part of something bigger than yourself.
Come join the team, make new friends, and let’s grow deeply rooted together!
🎶 Join the Worship Team 🎶
Do you love to sing, play an instrument, or just worship God with your whole heart?
The Worship Team is your chance to help lead others into God’s presence and set the tone for our Deeply Rooted Co-op gatherings.
This isn’t just about music — it’s about building a close-knit community that’s focused on God’s Word and open to the gifts and workings of the Holy Spirit. There’s no junior Holy Spirit — every student, from PK to 12th grade, has something powerful to bring!
On this team, you’ll:
Lead songs that bring energy, joy, and focus on Jesus.
Encourage others to worship with passion and authenticity.
Grow in confidence, teamwork, and leadership as you step out in faith.
Take part in student-led times of worship, prayer, discussion, and even creating worship music together.
Whether you’re a PK student clapping, singing, and dancing with joy or an older student using your voice, instrument, or creative gifts, you’ll play a big role in shaping an atmosphere where everyone can encounter God.
📣 Join the Announcements Team 📣
Do you enjoy speaking in front of people, making others smile, or helping everyone stay in the loop?
The Announcements Team is your chance to be the voice of what’s happening and to help our Deeply Rooted Co-op feel like a true family.
This isn’t just about giving reminders — it’s about helping build a close-knit community that stays focused on God’s Word and the gifts and workings of the Holy Spirit. There’s no junior Holy Spirit—so students of every age, PK–12th grade, can take the lead in encouraging and equipping others!
On this team, you’ll:
Share updates, events, and fun news with energy and excitement.
Encourage others to join in what God is doing through our co-op.
Grow in confidence, public speaking, and leadership.
Play a part in student-led times that may include prayer, discussion, or thematic messages.
Whether you’re a younger student helping share simple reminders or an older student leading with a big personality up front, you’ll help create a joyful atmosphere where everyone feels connected and included.
Use your voice, your gifts, and your boldness to help our community grow deeply rooted—together!
🎛️ Join the A/V Team 🎛️
Do you love gadgets, technology, or making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes?
The A/V Team is your chance to help bring worship, teaching, and community time to life by running the sound, visual effects, slides, and lights for our Deeply Rooted Co-op gatherings.
This isn’t just about pushing buttons — it’s about creating an atmosphere where our close-knit community can focus on God’s Word and experience the gifts and workings of the Holy Spirit. There’s no junior Holy Spirit — which means every student can play an important role in helping others encounter God!
On this team, you’ll:
Run sound, visual effects, slides, and lighting so worship and teaching are clear and distraction-free.
Support student-led times of worship songs, thematic messages, prayer, and discussion.
Grow in responsibility, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Help create space for our community to encounter God together — whether through worship, discussion, teaching, or prayer.
Whether you’re learning the foundations of the systems with guidance or taking charge of the full tech setup, your work makes a huge difference in helping everyone connect deeply with God and one another.
Use your tech skills (or your willingness to learn!) to help our community stay deeply rooted in worship and the Spirit — together!
