True North Homeschool™
Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is True North Homeschool™?

A: True North Homeschool™ is real-life learning, community, and resource center offering “a la carte” services for homeschool families across Colorado.

Our variety of services include:

Think of us as an “a la carte” resource center, giving you ultimate flexibility when building your homeschool. True North Homeschool™ fits well with an umbrella school and other existing enrichment and coop options. Enrolling with True North Homeschool™ is like a monthly membership / subscription, giving your family full and priority access to all of our learning opportunities! We also have our True North Adventure Pass™ which is for all of our learning adventures that are more like tourist attraction experiences than a typical field trip would be.

Q: IS true north homeschool an enrichment option for homeschoolers?

A: We are a fairly new homeschooling resource, launched in Spring 2021, for families across the state that includes in-person enrichment type classes and experiences at our flagship Littleton Location (as one of our core offerings). It’s a new “A La Carte” style option – for total flexibility – compared to the traditional options. Not an umbrella. Not a school. More of a resource center – virtually and physically. We are continually adding more and more resources for you as we grow and expand our reach across Colorado.

Our True North Adventure Pass™ is great for homeschool families that live anywhere in CO that want to explore fun places with their family and other homeschooling families!

Q: Do your “A La Carte” Classes and Quarterly Class Packages build on the knowledge from the previous ONE? OR Will each ONE be new information?

A: The answer is yes to both. We intentionally design our classes and learning experiences to build on each other over time, yet also be able to “stand alone” as much as possible so that homeschool families can create their ultimate, flexible learning experience with us. We incorporate many unit-based, theme-based, and topical-based approaches to our classes and learning experiences.

Q: Do you have to be a Member of true north homeschool to PURCHASE THE True North Adventure Pass™?

A: No. Our True North Adventure Pass™ is a separate offering for homeschool families to enjoy across the state!

Q: Where do I go if I have a question about Registering for Classes OR EVENTS?

A: Check out our Registration Support page for registering for a class or event; creating an account; resetting your password; checking remaining gift certificate balance / credit; and/or applying a coupon code.

NOTE: Our registration window closes 24 hours before all classes and events so we can prepare the instructors and any supplies needed for the class / event.

Q: Are you hiring people to teach or FACILITATE THE EDUCATIONAL TRACKS?

A: True North Homeschool™ program delivery is a mix of partnering with 3rd party businesses like (Play-Well, The Knight School Denver, Young Americans Center For Financial Education, etc.) and subcontracting with homeschool parents (experienced in class subjects) while creating and delivering classes.

Q: WILL this BE DROP OFF or parent participation?

A: Some of offerings will be “drop off” and others will require parent participation in the classes. The “drop off” options will mostly be 2-4 hour increments, depending on the type of class and who is delivering it. We sometimes offer larger “drop off” options depending on the class or experience being offered.

Q: What days are the EDUCATIONAL Tracks available?

A: Best place to check is our True North Calendar! We have Educational Track experiences on various days of the week throughout the school year. Most of our Educational Tracks are on Thursdays. Some Educational Tracks are offered on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Mondays and Fridays are typically reserved more for field trips and activity-based clubs.

Q: Where ARE YOU located?
