ABOUT STEM & Robotics EDUCATIONAL TRACK
What is STEM? (S)cience, (T)echnology, (E)ngineering and (M)athematics
This year we have redesigned this track to build out more STEM and Robotics resources along with a new STEM Field Trip Series!
Our STEM and robotics building projects are based on real-life application. What better of a way to learn new concepts than in action designing and building! In a fun team environment, students will be utilizing the engineering design process.
Our learning experiences are ALL non-government funded.

STEM & Robotics EXPLORATION
Description: Each week students will be tasked with designing and/or building STEM and robotics projects are based on real-life application. In a fun team environment, students will be utilizing the engineering design process regularly. What better of a way to learn new concepts than in action designing and building!

Dates: Classes offered as “A La Carte” Quarterly, 7-Week Packages
Quarter 1: August 24 - October 12
Quarter 2: October 26 - December 14
Quarter 3: January 11 - February 29
Quarter 4: March 7 - May 9
Time: Thursday mornings from 9:00am - 10:15am
Cost Per Quarter (7-Weeks): $50 per student + $15 supply fee
Age Range: K-12th
Drop-Off (Yes/No): Yes. Parents can stay if prefer too!
Class Size: Minimum of 15 students to run class
2023-2024 Program: We will be running this as 7-week quarterly “a la carte” packages on Thursday mornings.

Adventures in STEM w/ LEGO® - Monthly (K-3rd)
Description: Let your imagination run wild with tens of thousands of LEGO® parts! Build engineer-designed projects such as: chugging Steamboats, enchanted Moon Bridges and bustling Airports. Design and build as never before, and explore your craziest ideas in a supportive environment.
Dates & Times: Monthly on Thursday mornings 9:00am-12:00pm

Location: True North’s Littleton location
Cost Per Class: $35
Age Range: K-3rd grade
Drop-Off (Yes/No): Yes. Parents can stay if prefer too!
Class Size: Maximum of 15 students
2023-2024 Program: Runs September-April once a month, classes will be on 1st Thursdays, except around holidays and breaks.

THEME-BASED FIELD TRIP SERIES
STEM & RObotics SERIES
Description: For Colorado homeschool families that want to incorporate STEM skill building into their curriculum. Join us as we explore different aspects of the STEM-based industries and learning experiences. We will be participating and/or visiting:
iFLY STEM Field Trips (Lone Tree & Colorado Springs)
Anotomic Clock at National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)
National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR)
National Cybersecurity Center
The Denver Museum of Nature & Science
Through real-life learning experiences, students will see first hand what it’s like in STEM-based industries. We will go behind the scenes and even have the opportunity to ask questions for inspiration!

Dates: Throughout the year, timing will vary based on availability for each tour.
Cost: Free for Members on some. Others will vary based on field trip fees, if applicable.
