QUARTER 4: ENTREPRENEUR MARKET (DENVER METRO AREA + VIRTUAL)
Description: For Colorado homeschool families that want to incorporate entrepreneurial / business building skills into their curriculum. Through real-life learning experiences, students will see first hand what it’s like to start and operate a small business! We partner with Libertas Institute, a connection through our work with Tuttle Twins.
Our Annual True North Entrepreneur Market is held outside. Subsequent Children’s Entrepreneur Markets in the summer and fall, throughout Colorado, are held outside and the registration process is managed through Libertas Institute.
Children bring all their own supplies to each market: table for 10 ft. x 10 ft. space, canopy (if applicable), chairs, tablecloths, signs (with tape / stands), display items, decorations, cash box, change, Venmo, etc.
What can be sold? Children can sell anything! It can be handmade, store-bought, food, games or services. (No raw food allowed and all food prep, cooking and serving must be done by the child.)
Libertas Institute, a connection through our work with Tuttle Twins, is a “think tank” and educational organization aspiring to change hearts, minds, and laws to build a freer society by creating and implementing innovative policy reforms and exceptional educational resources. Libertas Press publishes the infamous Tuttle Twins books that so many homeschool families love!
