The True North Freedom Fund
Building Colorado’s Homeschool Opportunity Ecosystem

Creating educational opportunities that help homeschool students move from Curiosity → Exploration → Pathway → Purpose.

Help a Homeschool Student Turn Curiosity Into Calling

Every student has unique gifts, interests, and potential waiting to be discovered.

The True North Freedom Fund exists to help homeschool students across Colorado access educational opportunities that inspire exploration, develop skills, and prepare them for future purpose and calling.

We believe financial barriers should never prevent a student from pursuing meaningful learning experiences.

Through grants, scholarships, pathway experiences, mentorship opportunities, and community support, we help students move from:

Curiosity → Exploration → Pathway → Purpose

Our Mission

The True North Freedom Fund helps create educational opportunities for homeschool students across Colorado.

By investing in students, families, educational experiences, and pathway-based learning opportunities, we help young people discover their gifts, explore possibilities, and pursue meaningful futures.

Freedom Fund opportunities may support experiences provided through True North, industry partners, community organizations, educational providers, and pathway-aligned learning opportunities throughout Colorado.

Our Vision

We envision a thriving homeschool opportunity ecosystem where students have access to the experiences, mentorship, resources, and educational pathways needed to pursue their God-given calling.

We are building more than a scholarship program.

We are building a network of opportunity that connects:

  • Students

  • Families

  • Mentors

  • Industry Partners

  • Educational Providers

  • Community Sponsors

Together, we are helping homeschool students move from curiosity to calling.

How the Freedom Fund Works

The Freedom Fund provides support through four levels of opportunity.

  • Discovery Grants — Helping students explore new interests and emerging passions. Examples may include: Museum memberships, STEM camps, Aviation experiences, Career exploration field trips, Workshops, Introductory educational programs, etc. These opportunities help students discover what excites and inspires them.

  • Community Access Grants — Helping families participate in educational experiences that might otherwise be financially out of reach. Examples may include: Field experiences, Conferences, Pathway events, Educational trips, Community learning opportunities, etc. These grants help ensure students can participate regardless of financial circumstances.

  • Pathway Scholarships — Helping students pursue focused educational pathways aligned with their interests, gifts, and future aspirations. Examples may include: Aviation camps, Robotics competitions, Entrepreneurship programs, Architecture workshops, Trade certifications, Leadership development opportunities, etc. These scholarships help students move from exploration into intentional pathway development.

  • Legacy Scholarships — Supporting students taking significant next steps toward their future. Examples may include: Flight training, Industry certifications, Apprenticeships, Dual enrollment, Business launch support, Ministry internships, Vocational advancement opportunities, etc. These scholarships help students transition from pathway exploration into real-world impact.

Why It Matters

A scholarship can fund an experience. → An experience can spark a passion. → A passion can become a pathway. → A pathway can shape a future.
