Deeply Rooted Teens (Ages 13-18) exists to help homeschool teenagers develop a genuine, resilient faith in Jesus Christ while building meaningful friendships, spiritual confidence, and Kingdom purpose during the pivotal teenage years.

More than a youth group or class, Deeply Rooted Teens is a discipleship-focused community where teens are encouraged to grow deeply in God’s Word, become sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit, and learn how to walk boldly in truth, wisdom, and love in today’s culture.

We believe teenagers are not the “next generation” of the Church — they are part of the Church now. Our desire is to create an environment where teens are known, valued, challenged, and equipped to become spiritually mature leaders who carry the presence of God into every area of life.

Our Heart

The teen years are filled with questions about identity, belonging, purpose, and truth. Deeply Rooted Teens creates intentional space for students to wrestle with those questions through Biblical discipleship, authentic relationships, worship, and meaningful conversations grounded in Scripture.

Our heart is to help teens:

• Develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ

• Build confidence in Biblical truth and apologetics

• Learn to hear and respond to the Holy Spirit

• Form Christ-centered friendships and community

• Grow in leadership, service, humility, and courage

• Discover their gifts, calling, and God-given purpose

• Stand firm in truth while navigating modern culture with wisdom and discernment

What Makes Deeply Rooted Teens Different

Deeply Rooted Teens is intentionally relational, interactive, and spiritually formative.

Rather than focusing on entertainment-driven programming, we prioritize authentic discipleship, meaningful discussion, leadership development, and real-life application of Biblical truth.

Our gatherings create opportunities for teens to:

• Engage in honest conversations about faith and culture

• Explore apologetics and worldview topics

• Participate in worship, prayer, and Spirit-led ministry

• Build deep friendships through shared experiences

• Serve together through outreach and community projects

• Grow in confidence, communication, and leadership

• Learn practical life skills through mentorship and collaboration

What Gatherings May Include

• Worship & Prayer — Student-led worship, prayer ministry, and Spirit-led encouragement.

• Rise Up Conversations — Relevant, discussion-based discipleship centered on identity, truth, culture, purpose, and spiritual growth.

• Firm Foundations — Biblical worldview and apologetics teaching that equips teens to defend and live out their faith confidently.

• Leadership & Life Skills — Practical growth in communication, teamwork, entrepreneurship, service, leadership, stewardship, and responsibility.

• Community & Connection — Intentional time for authentic friendships, mentorship, fellowship, and encouragement.

• Service & Outreach — Opportunities to serve local communities while learning to live out the love of Christ through action.

Deeply Rooted Teens is designed to complement — not replace — the discipleship happening within the home and through church.

We believe parents remain the primary spiritual influence in their teenager’s life, and we seek to come alongside families in support, encouragement, and shared Kingdom vision.
